After Adonis Brown graduated from Houston County High in 2024, he started his next educational journey at Central Georgia Technical College. He decided to go into nursing, at Central Georgia Technical, to follow in the path of his sister–he wants to make a difference in the world, while caring for (and about) people.
While attending Central Georgia Technical, Adonis is working at Disability Connections (a Middle Georgia non-profit organization dedicated to helping people with disabilities attain and maintain access to get connected to the community, get support services and training to have the life of their choosing) as a part of the Media Team. He also volunteers often, because he wants to learn more about people with disabilities.
Along with working as a part of the Media Team, Adonis has made his debut as a sports commentator–helping with the play-by-play to help people understand what is going on throughout the games, as they happen. He hopes, through his outreach and hard work, others will see that the training and experience through being part of a team, working towards a common goal and achieving those goals (as a member of the Houston County Sharks all of these years) can help you make anything happen! That is his new mission – to motivate those around him to see that you can do anything you put your mind to doing!
