It is with great enthusiasm and gratitude as I have begun my work as the new Executive Director of the American Association of AdaptED Sports Programs. I am honored to step into this role and join a community as passionate, dedicated, and accomplished as ours. With over two decades of leadership experience and a lifelong commitment to supporting children with disabilities, I’m excited to bring fresh energy, open collaboration, and strategic vision to our association.
I want to take a moment to recognize the incredible work of our members, volunteers, and past leadership. Your dedication has built a strong foundation—one that we will continue to grow and evolve together.
In the coming weeks and months, I look forward to:
- Making on-site visits with many districts
- Advancing key initiatives that align with our mission and values, including my plan to add four new programs this year
- Enhancing member engagement, benefits, and opportunities through upcoming virtual and in-person events
- Strengthening our voice and impact across the industry, beginning with a site visit to NFHS in Indianapolis
