Dougherty County will be working in collaboration with the Albany Recreation and Parks Department, an historic opportunity for their district to lead the way in providing equitable access to athletics for students with disabilities in their county. Under their leadership, Dougherty County plans to officially launch in August 2026 with Wheelchair Handball, Basketball and Football. We are excited to welcome our newest and southernmost team to our league, so get ready to compete with Dougherty County!
