American Association of AdaptED Sports Programs (AAASP) Interscholastic Wheelchair Football State Championships This Weekend for Varsity and JV Divisions!

Atlanta, May 6, 2024 – The AAASP Wheelchair Football State Championships, both Varsity and JV, will take place this weekend, Saturday May 11th,  in Clayton County.  Come join adaptED sports athletes from across Georgia as they compete for the AAASP state title!

Here are the Wheelchair Football Championship Schedules for May 11, 2024:

Varsity Games

**Varsity Championship Games – hosted by Houston County Public Schools at:

Houston County High School
920 Highway 96, Warner Robins, GA  31088.

  • 11:00 AMGame #1 – Varsity Semi  
    Clayton Eagles  vs. West GA Wolverines
  • 1:00 PM – Game #2 – Varsity Finals
    Winner of Game #1 vs. Houston County Sharks

Junior Varsity Games

**Junior Varsity Championship Games – hosted by Houston County Public Schools at:

Mossy Creek Middle School
200 Danny Carpenter Dr., Kathleen, GA  31047.

  • 11:00 AM – Game #1 – JV Semi-Finals
    Classic City Dawgs  vs. Houston Jr. Sharks
  • 1:00 PM – Game #2 – JV Semi – Finals
    Peach County Rolling Trojans vs. Georgia Storm
  • 3:00 PM -Game #2 – JV Finals
    Winner of Game #1 vs. Winner of Game #2

The AAASP Wheelchair Football Regular Season finished up last weekend – here are the end of season standings going into the Championships this weekend:

  3. ‪Clayton Eagles
  4. ‪DeKalb Silver Streaks*

*Note: DeKalb will forfeit the state championships due to surgeries, so the 1st place team will receive a BYE for the first game of the championship.
