Announcing the “Get in the Game” Grant to expand adapted sports across Georgia.
The AAASP “Get in the Game” Grant supports Georgia school districts in establishing an AdaptED Sports program by offsetting start-up costs. The grant provides comprehensive resources and training to help schools and districts successfully launch their program.
The “Get in the Game” Grant includes sports equipment (sports wheelchairs, game balls, cones, mesh pinnies, inflators, first aid kits), annual coaches training for each sport, officials training and scheduling, game scheduling, home and away team uniforms, complimentary membership for one sport season, and sport-specific handbooks and manuals.
AAASP is hosting a free webinar just for coaches to answer all of your questions on how to get started, what is required, and how to apply.
