Frank Yantek is the father of three boys, his youngest of whom was born with spina bifida and is now pursuing a college degree in electronic media and broadcasting. Frank and his wife Beth are very involved in causes that make a difference, especially in their home community of Cincinnati Ohio. Frank grew up loving hockey, so his involvement in the creation of sled hockey opportunities in Cincinnati for his son and others with disabilities seemed a perfect endeavor to put his many talents behind. At present, Frank serves on the board of the Ohio Sled Hockey, Inc, an Ohio wide non-profit organization and his wife serves as Executive Director of the Spina Bifida Coalition of Cincinnati.
When not promoting and supporting causes important to his family, Frank advises businesses and entrepreneurs as President, Founder, Owner of Yantek Consulting Group, Inc. Founded in 1992 as a boutique bankruptcy restructuring company providing contract analysis, renegotiation of contract terms and claims reconciliation for multi-billion clients. His extensive keen business knowledge is attributed to saving over $100 million for clients such as Macy’s, Delta Air Lines, Kaiser Aluminum, Purina Mills and many others. He has is responsible for the day to day operations including client relations, marketing and all financial aspects.
His past experience has included Director of Capital Budgeting and Leasing (1989-1992), Federated Department Stores, Cincinnati, OH, coordinating the $200 million annual capital budgeting process for the nine department store divisions with over $7 billion in sales. He was CFO and Treasurer (1985-1989) at Forbes Healthmark Corporation, Pittsburgh, PA where he handled all financial functions including accounting, bank relations, budgets, cash and investment management, debt management, strategic planning, financial analysis and tax filings. He assisted in the reorganization and restructuring of Forbes Health System with annual revenue in excess of $200 million; development of a strategic plan to create Meritcare, long-term care nursing home company and analyzed, recommended and completed the $50 million acquisition of Metrocare, a publicly traded long-term care company.
Yantek’s other accomplishments include serving as Assistant Treasurer (1983-1985) Astrotech International Corporation, Pittsburgh, PA where he was the direct Assisted Willard F. Rockwell, Former Chairman of Rockwell International in analyzing acquisition candidates and constructing and negotiating financial offers which resulted in the acquisition of three companies with combined sales in excess of $125 million.
He attended Duquesne University, Pittsburgh, PA receiving a Masters of Business Administration, 1983; Pennsylvania State University, University Park, PA, Bachelor of Science, Finance, 1979. He became a Certified Cash Manager in 1997 and is a member, Turnaround Management Association.
