Brooks Brown is the Washington DC Territory Manager for Orthofix, which provides surgical devices and consulting services for hospitals and doctors. In his role as Territory Manager, Brooks designs and executes strategies for all sales development, and constructs and manages client relationships to maintain diverse and consistent revenue streams to support multiple product lines.
At Orthofix Brooks has been honored as Associate Territory Manager (2007) and Territory Manager of the Year (2010), the designations are for the top assistant manager and top manager in a leading medical supplies company; developed and executed revenue growth strategy for medical sales, producing an increase of 250% in revenue (from 500k+ to 1.5million in three years); and has been selected or nominated for President’s Club from 2007-2010, the highest honor in the company reserved for the top five best overall performers of any position in the business. He has also trained prior to working with Orthofix, Brooks worked with General Electric where he provided critical support and assistance to the director of the organization for the largest aftermarket auto parts show in the world.
Brooks graduated with a degree in Business Management from Babson College, where he captained and participated on the varsity basketball team for four years. In addition to his service on the Board of the American Association of Adapted Sports Programs, which works in partnership with educational agencies in the U.S. to establish programs, policies and regulations in interscholastic adapted sports for students with physical disabilities to enhance educational outcomes, he is also a mentor for Capital Partners for Education, a group working to motivate low-income Washington, DC area youth to get to and through college.
